One of the most popular bullion coins, named after the world-famous Vienna Orchestra, it is a true classic and always in demand.
The obverse of the Gold Philharmonic coin features the magnificent pipe organ in the Golden Hall in Vienna, while the reverse depicts a range of instruments including the cello, violin, harp, Vienna horn and bassoon. To mark the 15th anniversary of the Golden Philharmonic in 2004, the Austrian Mint issued a 1,000-ounce Gold Philharmonic coin named “Big Phil” with a face value of €100,000, and to mark the 20th anniversary, a 20-ounce Gold Philharmonic coin.
